By becoming a member, you directly support rainforest conservation and El Lugar’s commitment to leading sustainable eco-tourism. Your membership helps protect this land for future generations and helps us steward a new model of responsible hospitality.

It’s a choice to create the kind of world you want to see.

1. Membership Fee

El Lugar Club membership is $100 USD per month, billed
Membership begins on the date of enrollment and renews monthly until canceled.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by notifying us in writing (email or form submission).
Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

3. Member Benefits

Active members receive:

10% off accommodation (applies to one room per membership on any stay).
10% off food & beverage (including alcoholic beverages).
10% off on-site activities (currently including horseback riding).

4. Restaurant Discount

The food & beverage discount may be applied to bills covering up to 12 guests at one table.
The member must be the one paying the bill in full; discounts cannot be applied if the bill is split.

5. General Conditions of Benefits

Discounts apply only to direct bookings with El Lugar and cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated.
Benefits are valid only for the member and are non-transferable.

6. Changes to the Program

El Lugar reserves the right to update membership benefits, fees, or terms with prior notice.
Any such changes will not affect benefits already booked before the update.

7. Liability

Membership does not constitute ownership or financial interest in El Lugar.
El Lugar is not responsible for any loss, injury, or expense arising from use of member benefits beyond what is covered under standard guest policies.

8. Governing Law

Membership is subject to the laws of Costa Rica
