Come aboard El Lugar’s custom-built tractor and journey through the dense foliage and captivating views of the rainforest. The ride’s finale is the tranquil River Gùacimo where the crystalline water gathers into a natural swimming hole. In this enchanting spot, you can swim, refresh, relax and enjoy a snack before journeying back to El Lugar.
We recommend wearing close-toe shoes and long pants over your bathing suit. Items to bring are sunblock, bug spray and a towel.
El Lugar is approximately two hours northeast of San José airport in the northern lowlands (Heredia province).
